  • September 15, 2015

We are delighted a number of SPARK Impact portfolio companies have been named as successful applicants for the ‘Call for Company Pitches’ competition, which forms part of the 2015 BioCap Conference.

SPARK’s  portfolio companies Absynth Biologics and CellCap are among 10 successful companies who will be pitching to the life-science investment community. These include Absynth Biologics, CellCap, Crystec Pharma, Inhalesome-C, N4 Pharma, Neotherix, PeptiGelDesign, Pronec, The Research Network and Vodus.

Taking place on Wednesday 30th September, BioCap 2015 will bring together international investors, companies who are seeking finance and those who have a track record of raising finance and provides a fantastic opportunity to companies who are looking to secure investment and further understand the funding landscape.

The competition proved to be hugely popular this year and the organising committee were impressed with the number and quality of the applications received.

George Freeman, Minister for Life Sciences will deliver a presentation by video, recorded specifically for BioCap 2015 and the new Greater Manchester and Cheshire Life Science Fund will be launched at the conference.
